Job Details

• Position: Senior Accountant

• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex accounting operations, including accruals, deferrals, allocations, inter-company transactions, and fixed assets.
• Prepare financial statement sections and support monthly and annual reporting.
• Perform detailed reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy.
• Lead month-end closing processes.
• Mentor junior staff and review their work for accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting – essential for these jobs in dubai.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP.
• ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Experience with inter-company transactions, fixed assets, and month-end closing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
