We are seeking a Senior Accounting & Tax Professional with proven leadership skills to lead and manage an accounting, tax team and clients. Key Responsibilities

Leadership, Team and Client Management

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting and tax team and clients.
• Review team deliverables including accounts, VAT returns, and CT calculations.
• Allocate work, set deadlines, and ensure quality control.
• Train junior and senior staff on UAE accounting and tax requirements.

Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee full accounting cycle and month-end / year-end closing.
• Review financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Review provisions including depreciation, EOSB, leave, inventory, and accruals.

VAT & Corporate Tax

• Manage VAT compliance including registration, filing, refunds, and audits.
• Handle Corporate Tax registrations, calculations, and filings.
• Advise clients on UAE VAT & Corporate Tax matters.
• Liaise with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) and external auditors.

Client & Business Support

• Act as primary contact for key clients.
• Support audits, inspections, and tax assessments when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory for these jobs in dubai).
• 5-7 years of UAE experience in accounting and taxation within an accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT & Corporate Tax Law.
• Proven team leadership and supervisory experience.
