Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies across all project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to site personnel.
• Monitor compliance with UAE safety regulations, OSHAD standards, and company safety management systems.
• Maintain accurate safety records, including risk assessments, method statements, and inspection logs.
• Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to promote a proactive safety culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction or road contracting industry.
• Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations, OSHAD, and international safety standards.
• Excellent observational skills to identify unsafe conditions and recommend practical solutions.
• Ability to lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification is mandatory.
• Applicants must be currently located in the UAE.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
