Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s accounts receivable and collections processes to ensure timely customer payments.
  • Develop and implement collection strategies to minimise overdue accounts and optimise cash flow.
  • Monitor ageing reports, identify delinquent accounts, and initiate appropriate collection actions.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with customers to facilitate payment arrangements and resolve disputes.
  • Review credit limits and terms for new and existing customers in coordination with the credit control team.
  • Prepare and present regular collection reports, ageing analysis, and cash flow forecasts to management.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal teams to address payment issues and escalate matters as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and UAE regulatory requirements.
  • Utilise financial systems and Excel to track collection activities and generate detailed reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in collections, credit control, or accounts receivable in the UAE.
  • A valid UAE Driving License is required.
  • Strong knowledge of credit control procedures, collection strategies, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing customer interactions.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial systems for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Currently based in Abu Dhabi or willing to commute.
