Job Details
- Position: Business Development Officer – Merchant Acquiring

- Salary: AED 8,000 – 12,000 per month
- Joining: Immediate / As per company policy
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new merchant clients for payment processing and merchant acquiring services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to drive retention and growth.
- Promote payment solutions, including point-of-sale (POS) terminals, e-commerce gateways, and digital payment products.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive business development.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with merchants.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and support for new merchants.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in merchant acquiring, payment solutions, or related financial services sales.
- Proven track record in business development and merchant acquisition.
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, POS terminals, and e-commerce gateways.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
- Currently based in the UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi, or willing to travel.
- Immediate availability to join is preferred.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in merchant acquiring, payment solutions, or banking sales.
- Strong knowledge of the UAE merchant acquiring landscape and key players.
- Excellent relationship management and client acquisition skills.
