Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage accounts payable ageing and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly AP reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with procurement and other departments on vendor-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations.
  • Support month-end closing and audit activities related to accounts payable.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in AP operations.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
  • Close attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of invoice processing, vendor management, and payment cycles.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Currently based in Dubai.

  • Proven experience as a Senior Accounts Payable specialist in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for AP processes.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
