Key Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and control project budgets for ADNOC pipeline projects in compliance with company and client cost control procedures.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, cost breakdown structures (CBS), and project budgets during FEED, EPC, and construction phases.
- Track actual costs vs. budget, identify variances, and prepare cost reports and dashboards for management and client review.
- Implement and maintain cost control systems aligned with ADNOC standards and project requirements.
- Forecast project costs, cash flow, and Estimate at Completion (EAC) on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, contracts, and construction teams to ensure accurate cost data and timely reporting.
- Review and validate contractor invoices, progress claims, variation orders, and change management costs.
- Monitor material, manpower, and equipment costs to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with approved budgets.
- Support change control management, including evaluation of cost impacts due to scope changes, delays, and variations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly cost reports, progress reports, and executive summaries for ADNOC and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC’s commercial, financial, and cost-control procedures.
- Participate in risk and opportunity assessments related to project costs.
- Support project close-out activities, including final accounts and cost reconciliation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in cost control for Oil & Gas pipeline projects, preferably ADNOC projects.
- Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, ADNOC standards, and project cost management systems.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, SAP, MS Excel, and cost control software.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Experience in pipeline construction, pumping stations, and associated facilities is highly desirable.
- Ability to work site-based in Habshan, Abu Dhabi.
- Immediate availability to join is preferred.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in cost control for ADNOC oil and gas pipeline projects.
- Strong understanding of cost breakdown structures (CBS) and project budgeting.
- Experience in variance analysis, cost forecasting, and EAC calculations.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 for cost and resource integration.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel for cost reporting and data analysis.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for cost management.
- Knowledge of change management and variation order evaluation.
- Strong coordination skills with planning, procurement, and construction teams.
