Key Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently within the Central Rx Processing system.
• Verify insurance eligibility, process e-claims, and coordinate with insurance providers for approvals.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements for online pharmacy operations and prescription dispensing.
• Review and validate prescription details, ensuring accuracy of medication, dosage, and patient information.
• Coordinate with pharmacy teams, insurance companies, and patients to resolve prescription-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of processed prescriptions, insurance claims, and customer interactions.
• Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or a related field. A DHA or MOH license is preferred.
• 2 to 3 years of UAE experience in online pharmacy, prescription processing, or Central Rx operations.
• Strong knowledge of UAE insurance processing, e-claims, and insurance provider portals.
• Experience working in a Central Rx Processing environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in prescription validation and data entry.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to handle insurance and customer inquiries.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in online pharmacy operations and prescription processing in the UAE.
• In-depth understanding of UAE insurance e-claims processes, including network approvals and rejections.
• Strong knowledge of medication names, dosages, and pharmaceutical terminology.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage high volumes of prescriptions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, insurance companies, and external stakeholders.
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling patient and insurance information.
