Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee geotechnical investigation projects, including soil sampling, drilling, and in-situ testing.
• Interpret geotechnical data and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations for foundation design and construction.
• Supervise laboratory testing of soil, rock, and construction materials to ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures.
• Review and approve geotechnical reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with UAE standards and the requirements of the relevant authorities, including ADM, DMT, TAQA, and ADNOC.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams to address technical queries and project requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to laboratory staff and junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience specifically in the UAE market.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation and interpretation methodologies.
• Experience with laboratory testing and QA/QC procedures for soil and construction materials.
• Proven ability to prepare and review geotechnical reports with technical accuracy.
• Familiarity with UAE standards and authority requirements, including ADM, DMT, TAQA, and ADNOC.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills in English.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and site teams.

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, and ground improvement techniques.
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
• Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Knowledge of UAE construction industry practices and regulatory frameworks.
